"Micah is quite simply one of the most creative and skilled colleagues I've had the pleasure of working with during my career in athletics administration. His talent as a filmmaker is surpassed only by his initiative and level of commitment..."

- Mike Harrity Senior Associate Athletics Director, University of Notre Dame

"...He is a strong asset to have around in any capacity... and requires very little direction to "take the ball and run with it". Micah is a steal. If you have the opportunity... hire him."

- Brett Winn Partner/Creative Director at The Refinery AV

What kind of shape is the gear in?

It was bought in early 2015 and is in excellent condition.

Who can rent our equipment?

In order to rent from us you must provide proof of production insurance that covers the cost of the equipment that you are renting. If you are an individual who doesn’t have a company (LLC or incorporated) then you will need to purchase a day policy to cover any damages that may occur. You will also need to have your DP/Cinematographer submit a showreel to us and a few examples of his/her past experience. This gear is for professional use only.

How do I get production insurance?

There are a lot of options out there. The easiest way to find someone to help you obtain a liability policy is to google it. Check to see if your company has insurance that covers rental property damage – if they do – then bring a copy of the policy for our records.

I've never shot on RED but I would like my project to be shot on RED. What do I do?

Our cameras are not for experimenting. If you are looking for the production value of RED and would like to learn about it yourself, we suggest that you hire one of our cinematographers or assistant camera operators to collaborate with you. Please contact us for rates.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds for equipment that you rent out – even if you choose not to use it. Each item is checked in front of you before it is sent out so if something returns “not working” then you will be responsible for paying for the repair.

When is payment due?

Renters must pay for the equipment before they leave with the equipment. Any damages that occur will be assessed upon return. In the unlikely event that the equipment is damaged, we will work together to decide the next steps.

I need more details about how I should build out the RED Dragon - where can I find those?

We shoot a lot of run and gun documentary stuff with our RED so we have it stripped down for handheld/monopod. That being said, everyone builds their RED differently and if you prefer a shoulder rig or another form of support we can help you build your camera to your preference.

Do you have any other equipment not listed on your site?

Yes we do. Just tell us what you are looking for and we can give you a quote. If we don’t have what you are looking for in our shop we can find someone else that does and make it easy for you.
