Bill Self has achieved what every coach in America strives for... consistency. As an alum of the University of Kansas, it was nothing short of a privilege to be the one entrusted to create a feature length documentary on the Bill Self era of Kanas Basketball.

Endorsed by KU Athletics and Bill Self, the film follows the team through their journey toward their record setting 14 straight conference championships while carefully weaving individual stories from KU legends (Wayne Simeon, Mario Chalmers, Sherron Collins, Thomas Robinson, Joel Embiid, Frank Mason and Devonte Graham) with key moments and untold stories of the longest conference streak in NCAA history.

In order to appreciate the present, you have to understand the past and producing Unrivaled was a master class in coaching philosophy and sports psychology. Kansas is the birthplace of basketball, and through this project I became well versed on not only the origins of the game, but the necessary attributes to create a winning culture.
